Energy Engineer

Kterio is looking to fill the role of an Energy Engineer. The Energy Engineer will analyze, design, and implement energy-efficient solutions within our organization. The primary objective of this role is to identify opportunities for energy conservation, cost reduction, and sustainability while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Energy Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute energy management plans, conduct energy audits, and recommend improvements to optimize energy performance.


  • Conduct Virtual/ Site energy audits and assessments to identify potential energy optimization and cost savings areas
  • Perform desktop Analyse to define energy consumption patterns and trends to develop energy management strategies
  • Design and implement energy-efficient systems and technologies to reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate renewable energy sources and develop sustainable energy solutions
  • Monitor and analyze energy data, identify deviations from expected performance, and propose corrective actions
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in energy management
  • Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals related to energy conservation initiatives
  • Work with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of energy projects
  • Provide training and support to employees on energy conservation practices and initiatives.

Qualification & Key Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in energy management, renewable energy, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of energy systems, energy efficiency measures, and relevant codes and standards
  • Strong analytical skills to assess energy data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software, data analysis tools, and simulation programs
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment & Building Management Systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and their integration into existing systems
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
