Senior Backend Software Developer

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Backend Software Developer to join our growing cloud development team in Florida, USA. responsibilities

  • Design and development of cloud backend software services and applications
  • Close collaboration with frontend development and product owners to maximize the efficiency of APIs etc.
  • Growth, leadership, and development of a new backend team
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Qualifications

  • Experience with the development of cloud platforms (Azure) and the ability to develop efficient APIs (RESTful)
  • Good knowledge of software engineering best practices and the full development lifecycle
  • Strong proficiency in C# .NET
  • Experience with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), Docker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL primarily)
  • Knowledge of Azure Synapse and Databricks (useful, but not essential)
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and automation
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
